Waste oil collection in Castleford
Castleford stands where the rivers Aire and Calder meet, just north of the M62. Once known for coal mining and glassmaking, it’s now a busy spot for distribution and retail around Glasshoughton, with industry still lining the riverside. From our Doncaster base we reach Castleford via the A1(M) and the M62.
We collect all types of waste oil in Castleford, including engine, gearbox, hydraulic, industrial and compressor oils, used oil filters, antifreeze and coolant and interceptor waste, plus contaminated fuel. We don’t collect cooking oil.

Who we can help in Castleford
The warehouses and distribution parks near the M62 junctions run large fleets of HGVs, vans and forklifts, so they produce a steady flow of engine and hydraulic oil, filters and coolant. Along the river there are chemical, food and engineering works, and across the town there are garages, tyre centres and bodyshops. Car parks, wash bays and yards with oil interceptors need emptying from time to time as well.
Warehouse sites often have forklifts serviced on site. We collect from the warehouse or the servicing company’s depot: see forklift waste oil collection and interceptor waste.
Garages and workshops in Castleford
We collect used engine oil, gearbox oil, oil filters, antifreeze, brake fluid and oily rags from garages, MOT centres, tyre centres and fleet workshops in Castleford, usually on the same visit. See garage waste oil collection.
Industrial waste oil in Castleford
For factories, engineering firms and plant yards in Castleford we collect hydraulic, compressor and cutting oils, oily water and interceptor waste, by tanker or in drums and IBCs. See industrial waste oil collection.
